worker retraining
Our programs have been approved by the State of Washington to provide some benefits under the Worker Retraining Program. Again, our Career Services Department can assist you.

placement
With a network of over 5,000 Aveda salons and spas, Gary Manuel Aveda Institute will help you begin your professional career in good company. We'll help you gain the knowledge you need with career fairs, career days, and self-promotional instruction. Aveda Institute graduates work in the most prestigous salons globally--with an education that is considered the industry's finest.

housing
Gary Manuel Aveda Institute can assist students in finding roommates and suitable housing, although the Institute does not own or operate housing facilities. Past Future Professionals (students) have found resonably priced apartments through craigslist.com and seattlerentals.com.

academic counseling
The Institute provides academic counseling to all students and will help you with tutoring if you experience challenges in meeting the minimum performance standards and course requirements as set by the Institute and the State of Washington.

Students have frequent opportunities to meet socially and build professional networking skills. We also host formal Institute Career Fairs and Salon/Spa tours that really connect you to your future.
