Calling all friends of GMAI; we would love your gift/participation. Once again The Leadership Team at GMAI will walk in The Northwest AIDS Walk supporting the Lifelong Aids Alliance. Joining our team, creating a team or sponsoring a walker or our team at large (very encouraged) is easy, fun and supports our 20 year mission to enrich our clients our community and ourselves. Network and get others involved. You can help raise funds individually or join our team by clicking on “Join Our Team.” Search for us under team name “Gary Manuel Aveda Institute.” Sign up as a Walker. You can either walk with a team or on your own. Sign up as a Virtual Walker if you cannot attend the AIDS Walk but would still like to raise money to support the cause. You can even sign up to Volunteer and play a vital role making it a success. The internet makes it easy. They help with letters and make it easy to use your email address book to get the word out. See for yourself.

When you Make a gift! you help provide much needed food, transportation and general help for those living with AIDS as well as keep the Lifelong Aids Alliance active, providing education and support in our community and beyond. GMAI got off to a great start this spring with the third ever biannual Career Fair. For nearly 6 months Cosmetology and Esthetics Future Professionals (FPs) planned and organized in teams to inspire participating salons and spas. The event began with attendees setting up booths on the clinic floor followed by a guided tour of the spa where Esthetics FPs in the Infinity Learning phase displayed their custom decorated skin care rooms, fully equipped with various items of inspiration including everything from cabana like motifs, natural elements, flowers and paintings to photos of far off lands and yes, resumes.
