Announcing our third Career Fair at GMAI. Future Professionals are thrilled to show off their skills at the next gathering. Please call or email to learn how to get involved. Participating salons and Spas will feature their businesses by setting up booths in true fair-like fashion while Future Professionals peruse the market place. Visitors can tour the spa all dressed up according to each esthetic future professional’s inspiration while cosmetology future professionals put on a show like no one has seen before.

Prepare to be inspired.

Recent graduate Bambi Nutt helps girls from “Girl Scouts Beyond Bars,” a youth organization for young girls whose moms and dads are under incarceration. Bambi shares Mascara tips and knowledge about going to beauty school. The visit was part of the scout’s merit badge program on beauty and wellness where each scout earned one of six badges on the subject.

Becky Drake joins the Gary Manuel Salon team for their annual Heritage House event. Volunteers did make-up, hair, nails and stress-relieving-hand-rituals for residents at the Heritage House retirement home in Seattle. In addition to a day of beauty residents ate food brought by the Salon and were entertained by a team of blues singers and Salsa Dancers.
